Beyond the Brief

Seeing others who are different is the first step to understanding them, and to realising we all share the same small world "  G Raisman, 2012

We are passionate about our work and what it achieves. Going beyond the brief, localised insight is a bridge to promoting greater understanding between different creeds, cultures and races, and arewe  proud to be part of an industry that is crucial to the improvement of our world and that of our children. As a team, we are committed to sharing our success with those touched by the local, national and international environments in which we operate.

As part of that commitment, we donate £1 for every 1000 words translated to the following charities:

Translators Without Borders

This non-profit organisation provides access to vital, often life-saving, knowledge by connecting humanitarian organizations with a professional community of volunteer translators to communicate critical information. Translators without Borders contributes to humanitarian efforts through translating a range of materials such as crisis response and vital health information, as well as through raising awareness of language barriers. For example, in 2011 Translators Without Borders began a collaborative effort to translate the 80 most important medical articles on English Wikipedia into other languages. As of 2016, over 30 million words have been translated by TWB volunteers and more are donated every day.

Since 2014, Empower Translate are proud to be Silver Sponsors of this international organisation. If you are interested in volunteering your time and expertise, please find details here: http://translatorswithoutborders.org/volunteers/translator-app
